The Philadelphia chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors has elected Chichi Ahia as its next president. Ahia is set to help lead the chapter of SIOR, a part of the National Association of Realtors that offers a designation for top-performing brokers in office and industrial markets. Ahia succeeds Colin Flynn of the Flynn Co., the chapter’s immediate past president. Ahia serves as executive director, principal and broker of record for Langhorne-based SVN Ahia Commercial Real Estate, an affiliate of SVN International Corp. that he’s led for almost a decade.
His firm primarily serves the markets of eastern Pennsylvania and central and southern New Jersey. Ahia has been a member of SIOR since 2018 and served in various leadership positions for the chapter, including vice president, secretary and treasurer.
The SIOR Philadelphia chapter has 90 members in central and eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware. The chapter also elected Tony Rod of Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania to serve as vice president, the Flynn Co.’s Patrick Gilmore as secretary and Brian Davison of Davison Associates as treasurer.
