The first quarter of 2026 saw an increase of U.S. commercial real estate investment sales. Globe St states this is due to buyers returning to the market after two years of high borrowing costs and lackluster deal activity. Transaction volume rose to $112.6B through March according to Avison Young’s Q1 2026 investment sales report. Transaction activity on a deal-count basis also rose by 7.7% in the first quater as compared to the same period in 2025. continue
