A Lower Macungie Township man has signed a multiunit franchise and development agreement with Wok Box Fresh Asian Kitchen and secured a site for its first location in the Greater Lehigh Valley.
The fast-casual restaurant began in Canada and now locations are popping up throughout the U.S. Brandon Zimmerman, franchisee, said he plans to open a Wok Box at 818 W. Hamilton St. in downtown Allentown on April 1.
“I’d really like to open the first one here and am in talks to open one in Trexlertown across from Air Products,” Zimmerman said. “I think the Lehigh Valley could support five to seven locations.”
